It is this attention to the craft of Averna that consistently delivers its signature citrus aroma and full-bodied taste.

150 years later, the infusion of Averna continues to take place in the historical site of Caltanissetta, and its recipe remains a closely guarded secret.

For many years, the Caltanissetta plant – whose construction dates back to the mid-nineteenth century – has opened its doors to welcome visitors in to see the passion and craftsmanship that has continued in the production of Averna since it’s birth all those years ago.
