Mondoro Asti D.O.C.G. is a sweet sparkling wine of superior quality. Asti is set in the gently rolling hills of Piedmont, Northern Italy. The craggy, limestone soil there is ideal for growing grapes. This effervescent, fragrant, seductive wine displays gorgeous peach, pineapple and pear notes with a light-bodied finish.
Made from 100% Moscato grapes, it has a high acidity, which helps to balance its sweetness.
It is considered by wine experts to be the “World’s finest Asti”. It is obtained by natural fermentation from white Moscato grapes from the D.O.C.G. area of Asti, in the heart of Piedmont.
The region is extended on 52 towns territories located in Cuneo, Asti and Alessandria districts.
