“We work in a fun and dynamic industry.”

Recipe for success

Ingredients: hard working, fun, delivering on commitment

Put “hard working” and “having fun” in the shaker. Add “delivering on commitment” by doing what you say you will do. Strain into the glass and garnish with “determination to do the best you can” to achieve the set targets.

After college I worked at a distributor where I started as a sales trainee and worked my way up through management positions until I was hired by SKYY Spirits in the state of Wisconsin. Since then it has been over 9 years of loyalty to Gruppo Campari!

Today I am responsible for implementing and executing against marketing strategies for the Campari Portfolio, managing territory budgets and establishing multiple distributor programs and goals. I handle the relationships with distributors and key accounts in the states I am responsible for. The person who works with me supports me in the day to day activities and, at the same time, gives me the opportunity to coach and guide him in his profession.

There is a lot of work to be done on a daily basis, so time management and prioritization is very important. For me it is essential to deliver on commitments I make, if I say I will do it, it will be done. Of course, the experience I have gained helps me to understand how the process works. But that’s not all: the ability of building solid relationships is another key factor for the success of our business.

What I am proud of...
I have always strived to be the best and rarely miss an opportunity. I am proud that every year I have been able to grow the Campari portfolio in every territory I have managed which has resulted in a nomination for “Division Manager of the Year Award” twice and won it once!

What I love about Gruppo Campari...
We work in a fun industry that is very dynamic, where there are always new and innovative products to compete against.  I love the brands that we have and I think my colleagues are really great people to work with.  We have autonomy and are encouraged to think outside the box, and have a chance to implement on a local level what we feel best suits the needs of our markets. Ultimately that helps us to drive business forward. It is also a great personal satisfaction to be able to develop creative programs and see the growth as a result.

Outside Gruppo Campari…
I am married and have 2 young children that I enjoy spending my free time with.  We spend time outdoors from swimming in the pool to lake skiing, wakesurfing, and wakeboarding. I enjoy challenging myself athletically and am preparing for my next “Tough Mudder” competition.
