Recipe for success

Ingredients: competences, proactivity, sensibility

First prepare the ingredients by being close to the business. Fill the glass with “strong competences” and “sensibility to overall context”. Maintain the proportions by “building relationships” and “active networking”.

I started my career as a Branch Manager for a company that operated in the HR services’ field and I soon realized that I was fascinated by the nature of work of HR professionals. Therefore I decided to develop my career into an HR manager role working in various industries and also acquiring international experience. I joined Gruppo Campari BU Wines, fascinating and at the same time challenging business unit, where I could really apply all my knowledge and skills acquired.

For me each day at work is a different story. One of the core activities I spend most of my time is supporting my colleagues in dealing with all HR issues and with people management. Other daily activities involve people development, industrial relations, recruitment, as well as administrative and coordination activities. There are some activities that have peak periods, such as budget and cost analysis and organizational matters related to the BU. In my work I see myself in 2 roles: being a coach for my colleagues and, at the same time, acting as a business partner. At the beginning of my career in Gruppo Campari there were a few consolidated processes. Since many others have been added and implemented. This is what makes my job attractive. So the challenge is really to make sure all parts of the organization are well connected!

Outside Gruppo Campari…
I spend most of my free time with my family: one of our shared hobbies is travelling. I am very passionate about music and sing in a couple of choirs and I also support charity organizations.
