Teruzzi&Puthod
The tradition and quality of Vernaccia from
Tuscany
Teruzzi&Puthod has been always characterised by a unique and
personal style that has allowed the company to obtain a growing
success in both the Italian and foreign markets.
Within the Teruzzi&Puthod range the most appreciated wines are
the Vernaccia di San Gimignano, a fresh and fruity white wine,
Carmen Puthod, Sangiovese dressed in white.
The cellar’s pride and joy is the “White
Supertuscan”, Terre di tufi, blended from Vernaccia,
Chardonnay and Sauvignon. The new “era” of red wines
started with an increasing quality of Peperino, a vigorous red. The
last born was a red wine with a great personality and an
unforgettable charm: Arcidiavolo. It is an elegant wine which
reaches excellence thanks to a calibrated contribution of
prestigious varietals.
Teruzzi&Puthod was founded in 1974 and since the beginning has
been known for the quality of its wines and its investment in
technological development.
Its vineyard extends on over 90 hectares and produces more than 1
million bottles for the Italian market and 20 countries all over
the world. With more than 30 years of activity, Teruzzi&Puthod
perfectly unites technology and winemaking tradition and is the
most important winery of the San Gimignano area and one of the most
prestigious Italian brands to export high quality wines
abroad.
From December 2005 it is part of Gruppo Campari.
