Château Lamargue is one of the most famous and prestigious
wineries in the south of France , situated on a terrain of roughly
120 hectares.
Château Lamargue produces a range of six wines: A.O.C.
Costières de Nîmes wines.
The A.O.C. Costières de Nîmes range includes:
Les Grandes Cabanes Blanc “The richness of Roussanne and the
intensity of Viognier“.
Les Grandes Cabanes Rosé “The complementary
contributions of two varieties, the freshness and elegance of a
great Rosé“.
Les Grandes Cabanes Syrah when Syrah conveys all its
freshness.
Les Marquises Blanc Roussanne e Viognier, the perfect encounter of
two great grapes with oak.
Les Marquises Syrah “The expression of a terroir with
elegance and harmony tipical of Syrah”.
La Reserve du Marquis the selection of finest grapes of
Syrah.
Château Lamargue is situated in a magic and fascinating area,
between ancient green forests and the coast of Nîmes.
The area is known for its beauty and history, already preserved in
the far XII century by the monks of the nearby abbey, and later
with renewed passion by the noble family of Louis de Senilhac in
1764. Eventually acquired by an Italian family it is owned today by
Gruppo Campari.
Recently, Château Lamargue was completely restructured with a
modern cellar, allowing a series of technological improvements of
the vineyards, and so, a higher quality of production.
