For over a century Sella&Mosca has been producing
prestigious wines.
550 hectares of vineyards with state of the art technology and tools and a strong attention to tradition allows the winery to offer wines of high quality, unifying tradition with innovation.
Sella&Mosca offers a wide range of wines, from the traditional Terre Bianche Torbato Alghero D.O.C.,Monteoro Vermentino di Gallura D.O.C.G., Terrerare Carignano del Sulcis D.O.C. and Cannonau di Sardegna D.O.C., to the famous Marchese di Villamarina Alghero D.O.C. (Cabernet Sauvignon), Tanca Farrà Alghero D.O.C. (blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cannonau) and Le Arenarie Alghero D.O.C. (Sauvignon).
All these are examples of vines from different stocks that have been perfectly adapted to the Sardinian land thanks to Sella&Moscas competence and care. The most recent innovations from Sella&Mosca are Medeus, a blend between two native vines, Cannonau and Carignano, and two international vines, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, and Thìlion, a blend of Torbato and Sauvignon.
These wines interpret the Mediterranean origins and the values of an uncontaminated environment and unite the peculiarity of native vines with the values of international ones.
Sella&Mosca represents the most prestigious production of Sardinian wines. Started over a century ago, the activity was begun by two men from Piedmont, both of whom where great lovers of wine and fascinated by the enchanting and uncontaminated land of Sardinia.
The Sella&Mosca cellar today offers some of the noblest Sardinian wines, coupling the islands winemaking tradition with the capacity to best interpret the most recent evolutions in flavours.
The building, that at the beginning of 1900 saw the birth of the activities, today houses the Sella&Mosca wine cellar, a meeting area for cultural exchanges on wines and an interesting museum. Gruppo Campari acquired Sella&Mosca in 2002.
Sella&Mosca is distributed internationally, its main markets are:
Italy
Germany
USA
